A BIT OF BRUNSWICK IN BALLARAT
Café MUZYKA (pronounced Moo-ze-ka) is a chilled out little coffee shop dedicated to live music performance and serving kick arse coffee!
The baby of musician ‘Arkie Williams’ Muzyka has been humming along in South Street Ballarat for the past 7 months. It has fast gained a reputation for its atmosphere and its unique ethical coffee blend…add to that the talent of some of Ballarats’ best musicians and the world really does become a better place.
The menu is humble but wholesome during the week with a great range of cakes (many gluten free), but it’s the weekend when Muzyka really comes into its own. Live music sessions happen at 11am and 2.30pm both Saturday and Sunday. The menu swaps over to ‘THE BIG BREAKY’ which is a mighty plate of all things wonderful about lazy late breakfasts (particularly if one has gone hard the night before). Muzyka also has wi-fi available to its customers.
Muzyka isn’t just for the big kids though, children’s music sessions are held on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10.30. Earl Leonnard has a stomping old time entertaining his young audience. These sessions are popular and it’s best to get in early for a seat. Cost is $5 per child with bambinos under one year old free of charge.
Café Muzyka is located at 206 South street (cnr of South and Lyons st South) and is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am until 5pm.
